  1. I just saw Silver Linings tonight and I think DeNiro and Lawrence have a good chance of winning. I heard that Amour was rather depressing and sad, so I'm not sure if Riva can get enough votes.

  2. Depressing and sad, yes, but extremely well-liked by the Academy, if Picture, Director and Original Screenplay nominations are any indication.

  3. I'll take your word for it. I'm only fully conversant with the animated features and while my heart is with "Brave", I think the sweetly entertaining and amazingly designed "Wreck-It Ralph" is a lock.

  4. Never got to see 'Wreck-it Ralph,' unfortunately. Saw 'Brave.' It was okay. Doesn't rank with top-level Pixar though.
