  3. I'm going to see The Artist on Saturday, finally, though I know several people who had the same reaction to it as you--neither crazy love nor hate. I've seen several of the nominees, but last year I had seen almost everything, so I was more invested in the Oscars. I'm hoping that Viola and Octavia win.

    All of your picks look right on the money to me!

  4. I like 'The Artist.' It's enjoyable and I'd recommend it, but it seems like a movie for right now, as opposed to one for all time. But maybe that's too much to ask for.

  5. I'd say 100% of people have the same prediction (for all the major awards). It's going to be ridiculously predictable I almost wished Sasha Baron Cohen was allowed to parade in costume at the show.
