LOVE this guy's work, especially in King's Speech. He did Tree of Life as well though combined w/ the images it made me rather sleepy :)
He's heavily in demand too - IMDB says he's worked on NINE different projects this year!
Desplat's best chance for the Oscar I think was The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, it's a real shame he lost but I was really NOT on the Slumdog Millionaire bandwagon.
Eh, I liked it better than 'Button,' though I don't remember Desplat's score.
