Or does it work better juxtaposed against the other couples? <br /><br />Back in the 80s there was a TV remake. Doris Roberts played Sadie. I'm pretty sure I took a look at it, but it made no impression whatsoever.<br /><br />Have you seen The Mating Season? Thelma is third or fourth billed, but her character is the lead.
