  1. I've only seen 3 of the films up for Best Picture--my worst year in awhile! I do want to catch up on them all.

  2. Most of them are indies this year, which take longer to reach middle America. Plus at least half of them came out near the year's end. Understandable.

  3. We disagree in some categories: short film (live action), documentary short, costume design, original screenplay...and actor. I think the Academy may play safe and give Boyhood the Best Film award, but I'd love if Birdman won instead...

  4. I seriously need to see BIRDMAN again. It wasn't bad by any means, but at the time I felt kinda lost by it, like I was missing something. I won't object if it wins either, but it kinda irks me a little that I missed the boat on it. Only a little.
