There are a few places here in NYC that also do things like serve beer, fancy food, etc., but one usually has to pay extra.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376065182154885503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189120682398421108.post-70199837493777079372013-01-25T14:28:39.768-05:002013-01-25T14:28:39.768-05:00Unless you're George Lucas. I've actually seen this a couple of times and it holds up to repeat watching. As to the language objections, I don't have the objection if it's appropriate to the period. If the movie had been set today and they used it with that frequency, I'd have a problem. But, in the historical context it was appropriate... well, appropriate's the wrong word but I think you get the gist (or I hope you do).Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05329144687532322489noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189120682398421108.post-45303717125427416282013-01-25T04:09:55.113-05:002013-01-25T04:09:55.113-05:00"However, like my cartoonist friend, he can&#..."However, like my cartoonist friend, he can't be completely certain that everyone who sees his work will react the way he would want them to." Therein lies the problem and the potential in all works of art. You put it out there and, in a sense, it is no longer yours - it belongs to the audience. To all of the audience, the thoughtful and the reactionary. Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.com
