I always hear about how London's doing this and China's doing that; it's hard to imagine a city in another first-world country might have similar problems as us. No offense, but that's almost a comfort, in a way.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376065182154885503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189120682398421108.post-3023012779586042232018-01-14T16:59:22.864-05:002018-01-14T16:59:22.864-05:00On one level things are on the upswing. Andy Byfor...On one level things are on the upswing. Andy Byford did seem to really care, and know the business. On the other hand, past administrations at the TTC and in local government left things as they were for far too long. There seemed to be no thought of keeping up with the times, the burgeoning population, and technology. I hope he didn't leave things in a mess for you.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376065182154885503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189120682398421108.post-83777482322233783112018-01-14T10:48:43.569-05:002018-01-14T10:48:43.569-05:00A movie I want to see, and may in the coming weeks...A movie I want to see, and may in the coming weeks.

Here in Toronto we have been promised Federal and Provincial money to update/improve our transit. A new subway line was just opened reaching into the cities north of the us. New streetcars have been a problem due to lack of delivery from the producer. Every day something goes wrong because of lack of updating through the years. Our mayor ran on a platform of new and better transit options. It is hard to get this sort of thing going, but we're so far behind something has to happen. Last year the air conditioning on the line shut down during a heat wave. The mayor rode it from one end to the other. You have to understand the problem, to understand the anger.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.com
