I imagine it wasn’t too different from podcasts.Richhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11376065182154885503noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4189120682398421108.post-27325504883473623482020-09-29T07:25:16.575-04:002020-09-29T07:25:16.575-04:00I'd have to agree with Paddy's comment her...I'd have to agree with Paddy's comment here: "Not for nothin' do I think of Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen as a modern day Mel Blanc and Arthur Q. Bryon." LaMarche's faux Orson Welles voice on PINKY AND THE BRAIN is hysterical. I'm a big fan of voice actors, and you've mentioned some great ones. Many early ones drifted into cartoons from radio, where, of course, being a voice actor was all one could be, and there were truly some greats from that medium - Arthur Q. Bryon being one of them. So many terrific actors make these characters live for us.

Not for nothin' do I think of Maurice LaMarche and Rob Paulsen as a modern day Mel Blanc and Arthur Q. Bryon.

Also, Gavin and I used to have mock fights when he would put Corey Burton on one of his lists and I would say "Don't you mean Paul Frees?" Gavin, like his sister, can also do the raise one eyebrow bit. Grrr.Caftan Womanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05936895555808823221noreply@blogger.com
